Our Mission
The Met Owner's Group strives to empower condominium owners by providing essential resources and information. We are dedicated to ensuring that our members are well-informed about their rights under the association by-laws and the Illinois Condominium Act.

We understand that this process can be stressful for everyone involved. Let’s stay focused on the issues and avoid making it personal. Our building operates much like a small city, managed by dedicated volunteers and a streamlined property team who work hard to keep us safe and maintain our home values. Remember, Board members are owners too—any special assessment impacts them as well.
Our request is straightforward: we’re seeking a second opinion and independent oversight from a committee of owners who are not currently on the Board. This is a reasonable and constructive approach.
Please be considerate. Refrain from sharing rumors or fear-based messages, as these do not help and may discourage those who want to learn and stay informed. Let’s focus on facts, solutions, and maintaining respectful dialogue.

Never before in the history of the Metropolitan has there been this level of organization of the owners. But it needs to keep growing.
